As a Valencian Member of the Greens/European Free Alliance Group in the European Parliament, I am looking for a full-time Parliamentary Assistant (APA) based in Brussels to manage my social media accounts, work on communications and produce visual and audiovisual content.


What can you expect from us?
I have been a Member of the European Parliament since 2024 for the Greens/European Free Alliance Group representing the Valencian Country. I am the Vice President of the Housing Committee (HOUS), a full member of the Transport and Tourism (TRAN), as well as a deputy member of the Committee on International Trade (INTA). I am also a member of the Intergroup on Languages, the LGBTIQ+ Intergroup and several delegations to third countries. Before, I served as the Regional Minister for Education, Culture and Sports in the Valencian Government. You can find more information about me and my work here and here.


We offer a full-time Accredited Parliamentary Assistant contract under the rules of the European Parliament, with an initial contract until 31 August 2026, renewable until the end of the parliamentary mandate upon positive evaluation. Remuneration in accordance with the European Parliament’s Staff Regulations, classification under Function Group I grade VI.


What will your responsibilities include?

  • Managing and developing my social media presence (X, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok) in coordination with political priorities.
  • Producing visual and audiovisual content such as infographics, videos, and graphic materials for online and offline use.
  • Taking photos and videos during events, meetings, conferences…
  • Developing new communication channels and trends, with a creative eye for innovation, digital engagement and community building.
  • Supporting event organisation, campaigns, and field visits when relevant.

What do we expect from you?
You have successfully completed your university studies and have relevant professional experience in the field of community management, especially in political communications. You have proven experience with social media management, content creation and graphic design
tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.). You are eager to change things and are willing to quickly and comprehensively familiarise yourself with new topics. You also have knowledge of European politics and the functioning of the EU institutions. You have excellent written and spoken Valencian and are fluent in English or French. Additional languages are welcome.
You are characterised by a sense of responsibility, loyalty and careful handling of confidential information. You have organisational skills, initiative and flexibility, as well as the ability to work under time pressure. The ability to quickly grasp complex issues and translate them into easily understandable language is helpful in this regard. Joining an existing small team also requires team spirit and a willingness to work together to tackle the diverse tasks of everyday parliamentary life.
As a Greens/European Free Alliance Member of Parliament, I also expect familiarity with the ideas and identification with the values of green policies, social justice, self-determination, equality and human rights.
